088 Cycles

Wake up, stay at home, go to bed, repeat.  Wake up, stay in the house, go to sleep, repeat.  Are things starting to feel like groundhog’s day?  Maybe you’re finding yourself in what feels like a never-ending cycle.  Now for some of you, the cycle struggle is new, but for others, being on a hamster wheel is nothing new.  Some of you may go through cycles of depression, cycles of anxiety, cycles of procrastination, cycles of having it all together, and then cycles of feeling like everything is falling apart.  Cycles of being highly motivated, and cycles of feeling like everything is a struggle.  In today’s episode I’m going to discuss a few things that keep you in cycles and how to get out of them and so I hope to inspire you to break the cycle.

077 FOMO: Fear of Missing Out

FOMO, or the fear of missing out, may sound like just another silly acronym, but, in actuality, it is wrecking havoc on many people’s lives.  People are choosing what to do, where to go, what to try, and what to be apart of, not because they actually want to do these things, but because of the fear that if they don’t do these things, they’ll miss out on something important.  When you make decisions based on fear, nothing good comes from it, so in today’s episode I want to discuss what causes FOMO, and most importantly, how to stop operating from a place of fear and start operating from your own desires. And so I hope to inspire you to miss out.
